Biography Paul Todd Merrill, PE is a Senior Project Engineer and Director of Sustainable Construction with Clayco, a St. Louis real estate, architecture and engineering, design-build and construction firm. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri in 1981 and is a registered professional engineer in 15 states.

Paul is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional and has specialized in green building design and construction practices with Clayco. Paul directs the sustainable education efforts within Clayco.

Using the U.S. EPA’s Emissions & Generation Resource Integrated Database, since 2003, the energy efficiency efforts from Clayco LEED Certified projects have resulted in reduced pollution emissions by:
