Biography

Kirk Warden earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering and a Bachelor Degree in Environmental Design from Kansas University in Lawrence, Kansas. 

Warden first joined Clayco as the Director of Design Development.  Warden is currently a Senior Vice President and leads the Institutional Business Group which encompasses the markets of healthcare, life sciences, education, sports, retail and entertainment. Warden is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA).  He is also USGBC LEED Accredited.

Clayco, in a joint venture with Legacy Building Group LLC, completed construction of the new $100 million Casino Queen gaming facility in East St. Louis.

*Doc's Harley Davidson
Doc's Harley-Davidson, a Kirkwood landmark, tripled its size in 2000. The $2.7 million expansion was initiated in response to increased demand for Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

EpiCentre
Two three-story buildings featuring entertainment, restaurants and retail outlets, a multi-screen movie theater building, a parking garage, and a two-level outdoor plaza for a total of 936,000 square feet.

Kitchen K Restaurant
Clayco completed a 6,000 square foot restaurant in the Merchandise Mart building on Washington Avenue in downtown St. Louis. Merchandise Mart is a 340,000-square-foot, seven-story loft apartment with retail shops.

Clayco completed work on the CityPlace Retail Center expansion in March 2002. Clayco added 50,653 square feet, bringing the retail center to more than 92,000 square feet.

Luciano's
In May 2002, Clayco completed interior finish at Luciano's, a new Culinart Group restaurant in Clayton, Mo. Located on the first floor of The Plaza in Clayton office tower, the restaurant opened for business June 3, 2002.

Mercedes Benz
Clayco created a new facility for Soave Automotive Group following the “Autohaus” concept mandated by Mercedes Benz. Clayco finished the 36,000-square-foot building in May 2006 in time for Mercedes to debut a new line of cars.

Shoppes at Centre Pointe
In May 2006, Clayco completed the foundations, flatwork and tilt-up construction for the Shoppes at Centre Point, a new retail center located in North Charleston.
