Baltimore Ravens Corporate Headquarters & Training Facilities
Baltimore County, Maryland

Geared toward training and providing a comfortable sanctuary for football players, the new Baltimore Ravens corporate headquarters and training facility is a welcome addition to the NFL team. The Ravens moved into the new training facility on Oct. 17, 2004 , leaving behind the former Baltimore Colts' training facility in Owings Mills. Clayco and Forum Studio Inc. took the owners' vision of a football-practical environment that would assist the Ravens in building winning football teams and translated it into 200,000 square feet of new construction that combines state-of-the-art sports design, construction and equipment with natural stone, brick masonry, wood paneling, stone fireplaces, pitched roofs and a Tudor styling.

Located on 32 acres in Northwest Regional Park in Baltimore County , the complex evokes a country manor feel, with brick, stone and plaster facades, granite turrets, copper downspouts and gutters, stone copings, blue stone pavers and a slate roof. The Ravens invested in a number of upgraded materials to invoke a rich image, including cherry lockers and natural stone.

The 110,000-square-foot headquarters building includes hot and cold treatment pools, a physically therapy/conditioning pool, a state-of-the-art auditorium with multiple breakout rooms, a players lounge, a Hall of Fame corridor, a boardroom, owners' offices, three stone fireplaces and a full-service kitchen. A 10,000-square-foot weight room is the largest in the NFL, and the spinning room, basketball court and racquetball courts provide additional training opportunities for players and staff alike.

The 90,000-square-foot field house contains a full-length indoor practice field. Rising 85 feet high, the facility is tall enough for the Ravens to punt inside. The complex also contains a maintenance building, two NFL standard, fully drained outdoor fields, two crowned fields and enough parking to accommodate all guests, employees, coaches and players. Football operations are separate and secure from media and public areas.

Clayco provided complete turnkey delivery of this project, assisting with everything from site selection and development to final furniture delivery. The Baltimore Ravens facility is Clayco's third NFL project. Clayco previously built headquarters and training facilities for the St. Louis Rams and Atlanta Falcons.
