Pacific Marine’s new main office and branch facility will be built to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) certification with the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). Upon completion, the facility will have over 26% better energy efficiency than the standard in California.
Energy efficient credits include:
• The use of materials with high recycled content
• Designs for long-term high energy efficiency
• Installation of exterior sun shades to reduce the solar heat impact within the building while allowing the maximum use of natural light
• Ample views to the exterior

Clayco has been named design-builder for a new main office and branch facility for Pacific Marine Credit Union. The architect and interior designer is Forum Studio. Tilt-up construction on the 56,700-sqaure-foot, two-story financial facility is expected to begin in May 2009 with an anticipated completion in spring 2010.
