Solo Cup
Social Circle, Georgia Clayco completed a 1.3 million-square-foot warehouse and distribution center for Solo Cup, one of the world's largest manufacturers and distributors of disposable foodservice products. The new facility will employ approximately 155 employees and is expected for completion in September 2006.

Located in Social Circle, Ga., the distribution facility, designed by Forum Studio Inc., will be constructed using tilt-up concrete over structural steeling, allowing the project to be completed on a fast-track, one-year schedule. The warehouse will feature 30-foot clear heights.

This is Clayco's fifth project with Solo Cup, formerly Sweetheart Cup. In 2003, Clayco completed design-build of a 1.03 million-square-foot Mid-Atlantic Distribution Facility and a 909,094-square-foot regional distribution center in University Park, Ill. Clayco also completed a three-phase warehouse conversion project in North Andover, Mass.
