SYSCO Corporation is the nation`s largest food service, marketing and distribution company. Clayco has been awarded and completed nine projects over a period of five years, providing turnkey design-build services for all these facilities. Two additional projects are currently under construction.

The buildings are constructed of architectural tilt-up concrete panels over a structural steel frame with insulated urethane metal panels used to surround freezer and cooler areas.

The plans call for "high cube" freezers and coolers, dry storage zones, refrigerated and dry goods loading docks and Class A office space. Distribution areas are 28 feet high, have "super-flat," insulated floor systems to meet strict temperature control standards, and are zoned to accommodate the storage of both perishable and dry goods.

Special care was taken to develop the centralized office, allowing for future expansion over an unfinished mezzanine area. By utilizing aluminum curtainwall and/or aluminum windows, the two-story office component creates a dynamic focal point easily identified as a corporate office building.
