Intended to support Midwest operations for CVS, this distribution center in Kansas City will be built by Clayco and designed by its subsidiary, Forum Studio. Encompassing over 750,000 square feet, the facility is 40’ clear with material handling equipment including multi-level pick modules, conveyors, and racking.
Construction broke ground in early 2017 and is expected to be completed by mid-2018. The project includes 80,000 square feet of concrete mezzanine, 120,000 square feet of steel mezzanine, an 85,000-square-foot DEA-controlled pharmaceutical storage area, and a 20,000-square-foot office space.
Forum Studio will serve as the architect on the project.
