Clayco Begins Renovation Work on Landmark Credit Union
Clayco announced today that renovation work is beginning on the Landmark Credit Union in Danville, IL. The addition of 1,200-square-feet will bring the total building size to over 6,300-square-feet when completed in May of 2017.
Designed by Forum Studio, plans call for the addition of a new, taller entryway, a complete renovation of the entire existing building and an upgrade to the existing HVAC system. The work will be completed in phases to allow the Credit Union to remain open throughout the entire process.
“Our goal is to work quickly and effectively to create a more prominent, efficient building,” said Tom Mooney, Financial Facilities Business Unit Leader, Clayco. “Our expertise in financial facilities allows us to offer solutions that meet Landmark’s needs, while keep the disruption to a minimum.”
Originally started in 1935 to serve the VA Hospital in Danville, Landmark Credit Union has a community charter to serve anyone in Vermilion County in Illinois and Fountain, Vermillion and Warren Counties in Indiana. The Credit Union now serves over 10,000 members.
“The selection of Clayco insures that we will have the most useful and creative solution to our building needs,” said Randy White, President, Landmark Credit Union. “The multi-phase approach they put forth allows us to continue to serve our members, while upgrading and expanding our current operations.”
