Project Description

Clayco, in a joint venture with Legacy Building Group, LLC, completed a 60,000-square-foot medical office building for BJC HealthCare, constructed adjacent to the BJC HealthCare Primary Data Center. Despite forty-six weather related delays, the project was completed two months ahead of schedule.

BJC required a new medical office building at Progress West to meet an increasing demand for physician office space. The two-story medical office building connects to the hospital and replaces medical office space previously located inside the hospital. The exterior facade features stone and glass accents to establish continuity with the hospital’s appearance. The building design incorporates large windows throughout, providing a significant amount of natural light to the interior, as well as offering a relaxing view of the surrounding nature.

The medical office building earned LEED CS v2.0 Gold certification for commitment to protect and conserve the environment while providing a healthy living and working setting through design, construction and maintenance of the building.
