Clayco Begins Construction of Missouri Baptist Medical Office Building
Clayco Begins Construction of Missouri Baptist Medical Office Building Structure Will Be Used For Physician Visits and Minor Outpatient Procedures
ST. LOUIS (December 6, 2012) – Clayco, Inc. has begun work on the new 92,249 -square-foot Missouri Baptist Medical Office Building. The building is expected to be complete by October 2013.
The new building will be used primarily as an office space, with physicians’ offices and an area for minor outpatient surgeries. It will be built on top of an existing five level parking structure.
“This structure presents a challenge because we must keep the garage open during the construction process,” said David Molampy, Senior Project Manager. “This involves working around traffic that is present and keeping everyone around the construction area safe.”
The building is located at the intersection of Highways 40 and 270, and is tied to an existing office building that will also remain functional during the construction process.
Partners in this project include Forum Studio, Concrete Strategies, C& R Mechanical Company, Schulaka Plumbing, Engineer Fire, Bell Electric, and NetComm.
Clayco has previously worked with Missouri Baptist Hospital on a variety of projects.
