Project Description

Clayco completed design-build of this 80,500-square-foot home office and branch facility for Gesa Credit Union, the largest financial cooperative in southeastern Washington. Completed in just 14 months, the four-story operations facility features a full-service branch on the main floor, along with training rooms, community rooms, and drive-up services with two-way remote video. The building is also equipped with state-of-the-art technology, such as smart boards in many of the conference rooms, biometric access to the safe deposit boxes, cash dispensing machines for faster transaction processing, and deposit-taking ATMs.

Clayco designed and built the new home office and branch with sustainable strategies to achieve certification in the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED® Green Building Rating System. This was the first credit union home office and branch facility in the state of Washington to be built to achieve LEED certification. Gesa Credit Union’s facility features a number of green design and construction features to positively impact the Tri-Cities community. Sustainable efforts include energy-efficient lighting, an underground storm water detention system, and rapidly renewable products such as cork flooring and bamboo millwork.
