Clayco Further Expands Its Chicago Presence with New Director of Marketing and Support Staff
Chicago, Ill. (August 1 2011) – Clayco Inc., one of the largest firms in the U.S. that specializes in real estate development, architecture, engineering and construction, has announced the appointment of Jen Le, 34, as Director of Communications. Le will be based in the company’s downtown Chicago office.
Reporting directly to Clayco Chairman and CEO, Bob Clark, Le’s duties include developing and implementing a comprehensive communications plan involving marketing strategy, public relations and advertising campaigns; building critical business partnerships; driving connections between brand and culture and elevating brand experience for key audiences; and leveraging new and emerging communications channels as part of the overall communications mix to ensure consistency of message and maximum impact.
“Jen is a results-oriented professional who is adept at communicating with leadership, customers, vendors and internal personnel to manage overall marketing goals and improve business performance,” said Clark. “She brings to this position over a decade of strategic marketing experience and expertise in marketing in the construction industry, as well as knowledge about the Chicago region, an area of targeted growth for us.”
Previously Le served as the Central Region Marketing Manager for a leading global professional services firm and Marketing Coordinator and Community Affairs Director for one of the largest construction management firms in the country. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration and marketing from Loyola University of Chicago.
In addition to Le, Anthony Scheller, 33, and Courtney Clark, 23, have joined the Clayco downtown office to support the company’s expanding operations. As a systems analyst for Clayco’s downtown office, Scheller brings 14 years of IT experience and expertise in telecommunications, networking and wireless communication security. He is a graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer technology and a Master of Science degree in information technology. Clark joins the Chicago office as an administrative assistant. A lifelong resident of Chicago, Clark attended Northern Illinois University.
Clayco has operated an office in the Chicago area for twelve years. In 2010, the company established a downtown office as a result of increasing business opportunities, and has subsequently hired numerous high-energy professionals to support its growing project portfolio.
