Clayco Names Industry Veteran Kurt Jaeger As Regional Vice President

Clayco Inc. has announced the promotion of Kurt Jaeger to Regional Vice President of its Detroit, Mich., office. Jaeger brings to the position deep industry knowledge and extensive expertise in the Clayco philosophy having working with the design-build firm for over 10 years.

His ability to lead our Detroit team will play an invaluable role in supporting a long term sustainable model for the office, maintaining existing relationships, and developing new partnerships. Having served as project manager, project director and most recently, operations executive at the Clayco Detroit headquarters, Jaeger has been influential in the success of several high profile projects, including two processing and distribution facility projects for the United States Postal Service; a 728,000-square-foot distribution center for The Children’s Place and Disney Store; a two-phase 800,000-square-foot distribution facility and expansion for Payless ShoeSource Inc.; interior design and construction for Fluor Corporation’s headquarters in Irving, Texas; the construction of two Detroit distribution centers for Chrysler totaling over 670,000-square-feet; and core and shell construction on the 300,000-square-foot Troy Concept Center, a three-building office complex for Collins & Aikman.
In this position, Jaeger will lead the Detroit operations working with both local and national clients. He brings to the position over 18 years and 6.1 million-square-feet of development experience in the construction industry.

Jaeger is certified by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Construction Quality Management for Contractors. He actively participates in the local American Institute of Architecture Students chapter and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers, Inc.
Residing in the Detroit area, Jaeger also brings significant contributions to the community through his involvement with Rebuilding Together, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and Sweet Dreamzzz Detroit.
