Clayco Gives Gesa Credit Union Renovations To Enhance Customer Convenience
St. Louis, MO (March 31, 2010)
Upon completion of its new headquarter office in November, Gesa Credit Union is once again turning to design-build expert Clayco Inc. for innovative building solutions. Clayco has recently begun renovations of the credit union’s downtown Richland, Wash., branch to enhance member offerings.
Plans include a transformation of the branch at 825 Goethals Drive, which has served the growing membership for 29 years. Renovations include improvements that will increase customer convenience and parallel the new delivery methods being used in other new Gesa branches, such as six full-service lobby teller positions, as well as open access to member service representatives. It will also include a self-service vault entry system which will allow members to access their safe deposit boxes at any time during lobby hours; a new exterior entry on the east side of the building to allow direct access to the lobby; and a new walk up ATM. The renovation project is slated for completion in June 2010.
“The remodel and updated amenities at the downtown branch will enrich customer experiences for Gesa Credit Union members in the downtown area. Additionally, the overhaul will provide Gesa Credit Union with the option to lease portions of the facility space in the future,” said Paul Barrath, Business Unit leader for Financial Facilities for Clayco. “Having worked with Gesa Credit Union on its new eco-friendly headquarter office, Clayco understands the company’s dedication to the communities it serves and recognizes the value that the renovation will provide for Gesa’s members.”
Clayco’s team includes Barrath, project manager Darrell Lunsford and design architect Dean Wilcoxen working as a team with interior designer Ellen Daniels of Forum Studio. Joining Clayco and Forum Studio on the project is Alper Audi Inc., serving as structural engineer, and G&W Engineering Corporation, acting as mechanical/electrical engineer.
Gesa Credit Union has assets exceeding $926 million. Since 1953, Gesa has made more than $2.2 billion in loans and now serves over 90,000 members.
