When I started this company 28 years ago, I knew I wanted to take a new approach to design-build. I figured that along the way we’d break a few rules, find some efficiencies, collaborate with great people, and make our clients very happy. But I had no idea just how far we would go.
With a new integrated approach to the industry, a can-do attitude towards every project, and collaboration with some of the best and the brightest in the industry, we’ve been able to bring our clients’ visions to life and create inspired buildings that help them reach their goals. The last few years have been hard on our country, and our revolutionary approach has enabled us to help our clients thrive through tough times, while we’ve sustainably grown our business and strategically hired talented employees to help us deliver even better results for our clients.
Beyond these walls, we’ve had the chance to work with impactful charities and government leaders to build the cities and communities in which we work. Our people have embraced this goal, driven to go above and beyond in the community the same way that they do for our clients, and I couldn’t be prouder of their work ethic and spirit.
And we’re not done yet. I recently climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, and from up there I see a long way to go for us before we’re at the top of where we can be. We’ve opened a new office in downtown Chicago, relaunched our brand and website, and have hired some new people I couldn’t be more excited to work with. We’ll continue to do many things the same way; we remain committed to collaborating with our clients to give them the best value in the industry, building our relationships around the world, and bringing in creative, driven people who can help us serve our clients.
Looking ahead, I’m excited to see where we go in the next few years as we find more new ways of doing business, collaborating and innovating for our clients.
