Clayco is consistently ranked one of the top Green builders in the United States.
Since day one, sustainable design and construction practices have been an important responsibility that we’ve implemented into all of our projects. Sustainable building practices that we typically employ on all projects include: site selection principles, high performance building design, use of sustainable building materials and sustainable construction practices.
We have over 70 LEED accredited professionals on staff.
We proactively require rigorous in-house training for all employees in USGBC’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Rating Systems. We’ve established formal green building procedures to capture the maximum benefits of building green in every step of the building process. The latest technologies, including Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), Building Information Modeling (BIM) and energy modeling software are used in evaluating building performance and systems in order to maximize performance with cost effective, full life cycle solutions. We assist owners to make wise decisions to meet a project’s sustainability goals.
